Description Suggest change

An immaculate, minimal face with very few features, is where you'll find some of the hardest wall climbs on Kalymnos. If old-fashioned vertical climbing is your cup of tea, Spartan Wall will become one of your favorites. Moreover, at the lower right side of the crag are some good beginners’ routes.

Climbing: Very long pitches, small crimps, and technical, old-fashioned vertical wall climbing.

Conditions: Not good for hot humid days without wind. The tiny crimps melt into the rock. Exposure: NW

Kids: The approach is long and somewhat steep, but there are some decent spots for kids near the cliffs

Getting There Suggest change

From Masouri, head north. The path starts on the left of Philoxenia Hotel. Walk up the steep concrete road to the goat gate. Go through the goat gate and close it again behind you. Before the solitary big olive tree, follow the obvious path going slightly left and up to Grande Grotta (big ass cave). At the left edge of the cave, continue further left, past sector Afternoon, about 5 more minutes. ~25 minute hiking time.
