Description

This landmark boulder is along the old way in to the Main Wall from the SE, about 5-10 minutes before you reach the cliff. Since people are coming in from Sawyer Pond Tr now, this boulder will probably be lost back into the woods. It is tall, about 30 feet at it's peak, but has a good, featured 18 ft overhanging orange wall on it's north side and good lines from 8 to 20 feet on the west.

Getting There

This is one of the big scattered boulders below the Main Wall. It is right along the old trail used when hiking to the cliff from Rob Brook Rd (the long way), about 5 minutes below the cliff. If you are already at the cliff, look for a faint trail that drops down from below the route Greenpeace and then trends left. You will probably need a GPS if you want to find it quickly. If you are into back woods bouldering, it is worth exploring the hillside for more.
