Description

Australia is a mostly south-east facing series of levels - steep slabs up to 100' high with terraces in between. Rock quality varies between good and appallingly bad, but the bad bits are not climbed on. The higher you go, the less likely you are to find other climbers.

Getting There

Walk along the main traversing path from the parking at the Dinorwig bus turnaround. Before the dip at Dali's Hole cross the fence and head to the back of the workings (huge man-made incline on the left). Follow steps and paths up into Australia.
