Description
This crag gets sun all day basically. It is not crowded at all, we saw no evidence of people climbing it lately. The rock is limestone, I am pretty sure.
Getting There
Park near the Yampa Vapor Caves, west of the Hot Springs pool. Head east on the path for about a mile, then go left on a steep spur road that branches off just before the main path crosses over I-70. After another quarter mile, just after the road veers east way from the drainage, find a subtle path that leads directly up the hill to the cave, or continue on to the water tower. From the water tower, follow a trail that contours below a short cliff band. There are several bolted slab routes and some short unclimbed possibilities before you reach the cave.
