Description
This area in the Cemetery gets morning shade and hosts a number of climbs in the range of 50-60 feet long.
Getting There
This area is in the cemetery at Horseman's Center; the main approach is the same as for the cemetery. The courtyard lies halfway between the Black Tower and the Brown Corridor.
The approach to The Courtyard follows the same trail as the approach to the Brown Corridor - as you approach the black tower area, stay on the trail to the right side (East side) of the black tower area. As you follow this trail around the perimeter of the black tower area, you will pass by the pillar of despair and the pillar of hope (these will be on your left). The trail scrambles over several boulders as you head North. You will reach a gap to your left in the rock formations that will allow you to scramble into The Courtyard area. A picture of the gap is included in this post.
