Snake Den South

Rhode Island > Snake Den

Description

Snake den is a large RIDEM management area. Historically, climbing has been in the northern portion of the area, but recently, new boulders have been found in the southern portion of the park.

Getting There

From Route 295, take Route 6 west. The Belfield boulders are down Belfield Road, a side road off of Route 6.

[Hide Comment] Sorry Mark, missed this. There is definitely more out there. There is a lot or rock between the Bellfield boulder and the Venom boulder including a pretty good size cliff (close to the power lines). Apr 2, 2014

I climbed at this cliff recently. Not exactly a destination but a few fun lines. One leadable crack. It needs some cleaning and traffic. Sep 17, 2014
