Description
Pipe Creek Beach is the first access to the Colorado River available to hikers, runners, and those riding mules down the Bright Angel Trail from Grand Canyon Village and the south rim of the Grand Canyon. Pipe Creek Beach is a popular pull out for rafters on the Colorado River and hikers wanting to reach the river. It is 7.5 miles down the Bright Angel Trail and 1.5 miles from Phantom Ranch. It is a broad sandy beach downstream from the River Rest House and toilet facilities at the mouth of Pipe Creek.
