Description
The Abyss Wall is fantastic! It has everything from V-0 to V-project on it. This long strip of vertical to overhung face is VERY close to the parking lot and has plenty of lofty top outs for one & all. Don't miss the easy going "Crash" and the fun and challenging "Abyss" and right around the corner (same section of cliff but more noticeable and called called the "front wall") are the "Strength of One" problems, among many others! There are patches of moss all over the faces here, but all the cleaning that ever needs to be done HAS been done. Please dont brush anything be established holds... dont be that guy/girl who closes the park!
Getting There
As you pass the overlook, pass the first noticeable boulder (Bi-lingual) you will come to the trail that passes between boulders (stone steps). Don't take the trail, but stick to the line of boulders. You will see a tall face that faces the road, and then notice that there is an in-cut "cove" of boulderable faces. this "cove" is set-back from the main wall (called the Front Wall) and this is what is known as the Abyss Wall. The taller portion of the Abyss Wall is where you will find Vitamin B and a few others, and the deep overhung portion is where you find "Abyss".
