Description Suggest change

A popular crag, partly due to its proximity to the parking area off the A4, the Sea Walls consists of two distinct parts. Easy - moderate single pitch routes can be found to the climbers right (SE), with longer routes to the left.

The right side has a long row of bolts about 60 feet up, and appears to get a lot of traffic from groups of beginners top-roping. Consequently the rock is very polished, making this a less desirable option for more experienced climbers. The left, however hosts some great multipitch moderates, with quality, less worn rock and some good exposure.

Getting There Suggest change

The only parking area in the gorge is right at the bottom of this crag. Don't count on getting a space at weekends though!

For access from the top of the cliff, on-street parking is available all along circular road, and there is a good climbers trail descending just to climbers right of Sea Walls.
