Description Suggest change

Great grouping of boulders right below/across from an old deer stand.

Getting There Suggest change

It's about an 1.5 hour long hike to reach these boulders. Your starting elevation at parking lot is about 976' and the boulders to climb are at en elevation of about 1870'.

About 1.75 miles one way.

Head up RED trail until reach BLUE trail markers. Take Blue trail to the right. After 0.35 miles there is a downed pine tree sliced into several large logs. Head RIGHT for about 1/4 mile. It will get pretty steep once reach this part. Trail winds way thru small pine tree/sapling region.

Deer stand is right off trail and to the right once trail first starts to slope down hill for a few yards.

Hike off trail to deer stand and you should be able to see the boulders on both slopes.

Take plenty of water. Very rugged and remote area.
