Description Suggest change

Lincoln Lake's boulders are clustered on the west side of the lake. It is a beautiful, alpine setting.

Getting There Suggest change

From Denver: take I-70 West to Mt. Evans exit #240. Go south on CO 103 until you reach the Echo Lake Campground and CO Hwy 5 junction (approximately 13 miles). Mount Evans entrance is on the righthand side. There is a per car entrance fee of $10. Drive up until you see the long and narrow lake on the lefthand side of the road.

Parking is roadside pulloffs and very limited. There are a few pulloffs around the bend. Carpooling is best. Lincoln Lake is located 800 feet below Mt. Evans Scenic Byway on the lefthand side. The boulders are on the westside of the lake.
