Getting weather forecast...

Description

Large boulder on the ridge 100-150 yards west of the Dirty Crack boulder. This boulder has the coolest features of any we have found. Definitely want a spotter as the landings are good but small. Pinches, pockets, and slopers on water eroded grippy stone. Sam is close on the Drowning Project...He's getting to the exit of the roof clean every time and says that part is V9+. There are still several nice lines that have yet to be sent or cleaned on this stunning boulder.

Getting There

From the Dirty Crack Boulder head west directly across the AT trail go downhill for about 50-75 yards cross a wet area, follow the ridge line up past a couple smaller boulders and look for the Maritime Boulder to left right on the edge of the ridge.

It's scary but the holds are good..definitely need two or three pads and a strong spotter. Oct 12, 2011
One of the most beautiful boulders in VT. Too bad the landing is so sketchy. Oct 11, 2011
