Description

This little wall lives up to its name: "Pleasure Wall". This area offers up some quality bouldering routes. It's also very interesting because it's basically just a very short cliff in a field. Most boulders are free-standing and exposed on all sides, but this one comes out of the ground and has foliage on the top and back side, with the steep side exposed. So it's just like a small crag, which is small enough to allow you to boulder on it.
The rock is very compact limestone with tiny pockets here and there, but lots of side-pulls and pinches. The difficulty ranges from 6+ to 9+ through 12 routes. With a south-facing direction, this crag is best suited for cooler temps. Also, it's not very good for climbing when it's raining.

Getting There

Take the A-9 North towards Berlin and get off on exit 47 and turn right towards Hormersdorf. Right before entering Hormersdorf, follow the signs left to Rupprechtstegen. Drive through Wallsdorf and note your mileage, because 2km after Wallsdorf the road turns to the right and there's a little sign on the left pointing to Eichenstruth. Park somewhere along here. I parked in the field on the right, but you could also park along the road to Eichenstruth.
Approach:
From wherever you parked, go to the field on the right-hand side of the turn mentioned above. The boulder is facing with it's back to the road, so walk into the field and you'll be able to see it.
