The Dragon Area

Virginia > Shenandoah & NW… > Shenandoah NP > Central District > Little Stony Man Moun…

Description

This is a great area that has the most "committing" routes at LSM in my opinion because of their 40 ft vertical rock sections.

This spot is great for easy cracks and solid 5.7-5.8 climbing.

Getting There

The Dragon's Area is easily spotted on the right side of the crag. It starts where a larger chimney climb (Stem City) is and continues to the obvious 3 vertical cracks next to each other.
