A pair of golden eagles regularly nest on Bridge Creek Wall. When in effect, starting January 1, PLEASE DO NOT CLIMB or travel within 1/2 mile of Bridge Creek Wall. As a reference, the climb Condorphamine Addiction is just outside of this 1/2 mile buffer, and is OK to climb still. The closure extends through August 15, but there is active monitoring to determine if the seasonal closure can be lifted earlier.
In 2014, there was an active pair of peregrine falcons at Snow Creek Wall, but no official closure was put in effect due to the location of the falcons. The site will be continually monitored with changes or removal of closures updated as necessary.
Description
Warrior wall is to the west of Peek-a-boo tower and is a large dome of rock with a significant left facing dihedral on the left side. The striking multi-colord rock holds various trad, sport, and mixed lines from 5.9 to 5.11 on either side of the dome. The original route on the wall now known as "The Warrior" goes up the left facing corner with a steep cruxy top out.
Getting There
Approach as for Peek-a-boo tower but veer left just before the tower into a prominent gully that heads up hill on the left side of Warrior Wall. Follow the gully across bedrock and scree to the base of the wall.
[Hide Comment] Approach beta: the go left-right beta here got us lost in an epic gully-hell that had more than one set of bail slings in it. Basically you should be able to see the climb at the beginning of the trail and for the entirety of the approach gully to the climb. If you cannot see the route 10 minutes into your approach, turn back and take another fork!
[Hide Comment] More approach beta - we may have been out of shape given a Covid layoff, but it took us a good 30-40 min to get to the base of Warrior from the cars.
