Little Tongue River Crags
Wyoming
> Eastern Big Horns
Description
Many small granite crags within the Little Tongue River drainage in the Bighorn Mountains. Generally short single-pitch trad and sport routes. Great fricion climbs, but also a few fun cracks.
Getting There
Take U.S. 14 west of Dayton, WY up the Bighorn Mountain front, pass the parking area for Steamboat Point, continue for another 0.1 to 0.2 miles and turn left into a crude parking area surrounded by wooden fencing. Numerous crags will be visible from the parking area.
After entering the first wooden fence off of the highway, the road is closed to vehicles for the last half mile for resource restoration. As recent as 9/6/2017
[Hide Comment] this area houses about 100 routes.
