Description
Orange wall is a south facing wall along the west side of one of the inlets to the north of Steamboat rock at the northern end of the lake. It is broken up into three sections, left, middle, and right, by prominent gully systems. It generally has very little traffic and is composed of granitic rock of varying quality. All of the routes are multi-pitch and can have an "adventerous" quality to them.
Getting There
There are two approaches.
1. By boat one can reach the base of the wall from any of the boat launches along banks lake. Closest are Steamboat State park, and Barker Canyon WDFW boat launch which are both a 5-20 minute boat rides.
2. One can approach on foot from Barker Canyon. A ORV road can be followed north along the west side of the wall and one must travel east on the north side of the inlet to the west of the wall before heading south toward the base of the wall, a much more complicated and time consuming approach
