Description
Well known for it's sport climbing, Holcomb Valley has an abundance of boulders scattered throughout the forest and although bouldering has been done here for decades the potential is great for new problems of all grades.
Rock quality varies considerably from grainy and featureless to incredibly featured weather-worn granite which provides an abundance of solid holds even on the steeper faces.
A good concentration of boulders with established problems can be found around the north and south parking areas as well as to the north with a great deal of potential in all directions.
