Crack in the Woods

Alaska > Anchorage & S C… > Seward Highway

Description

A nice quiet place off the highway a bit. The bugs can be rather intense though so bring some spray. Usually warmer and windfree when compared to the highway. Consists of two climbing areas with each having a small handful of climbs. Around a 10 minute approach.

Getting There

It is 2.1 miles past the weigh station. Follow a small path that ducks under some trees right next to a small creek exiting the woods. Around 500 feet towards the city down the road from Pivot Point. There are two areas here. Lower Crack in the Woods is the right fork while Upper Crack in the Woods is the left fork of the trail.
