Peter, I was in the area for New Year's. It did rain but there's plenty of overhang routes you can climb, or easier ones with wet handholds. It's worth the visit. Jan 8, 2014

The best time to climb in southeastern Brazil is from May to September. Between October and April, there is a lot of rain and a lot of heat. However, there are places that are protected from rain, of course, are well reduced, in the area of Serra do Cipó and Rod, there are waterways that never wet, are beautiful limestone routes that are always available Nov 24, 2017
