Description

In the town of Caeté one finds long gneiss routes in Pedra Branca, boulders and short itabirite routes in Serra da Piedade. In Caraça park, one finds quartizite climbing at the Pico do Baiano and may also witness the traditional feeding of the maned wolves at the sanctuary. Cambotas mountain range offers the biggest walls less than 100km from Belo Horizonte, with 900-foot-tall quartzite walls.
