Description
A very nice area that escapes a little of the noise that the highway is notorious for. Can be very windy however so bring a shell even on a warm day. Typically you are the only one hanging out with the goats on this crag. The rock type is typical of the Seward Highway with loose rock being common. Most stuff around the area is bolted so trad gear isn't necessary but on a few climbs. A gorgeous view somewhat makes up for the wind and noise!
Getting There
Mile 8.5 after the Weigh Station. Park in the turnout on the Turnagin Arm side of the highway that is just past the 106 mile post. About 85 feet west of mile marker 106 is a very faint trail heading up into the woods. Follow this up until you hit a maintenance trail. Take your first left off this trail (It is in a large clearing) heading up and west until you reach the cable handrail. Routes will be listed in their relation to this handrail.
