Description
This is a beautiful, secluded area on the banks of the Chattahoochee River. There are several boulders and small cliff outcroppings to climb and explore.
Getting There
Getting There: Park at either the Whitewater Creek trail or Indian Trail entrances ($5 parking fee for both). The main climbing areas are located near park map waypoints EP26, EP 16, and on the trail between EP 24/25. Most boulders are located outside the official park and are most easily accessed by heading south from the parking lot at Ray's On The River restaurant (private land, use with caution), or by hiking north past EP 26. Trail map is available at: nps.gov/chat/planyourvisit/…
