Access Issue: CLOSED TO CLIMBING Details

Swede's Forest is currently closed to climbing. As it is considered a Scientific & Natural Area, climbing in Swede's Forest is illegal. MN DNR is working on getting signs made to post at the parking area.

Description

The top of this boulder has broken and shifted. The offset of this enormous plate has created a unique crack system that that is a defining feature on the North and East faces.

Getting There

This boulder is clearly visible on the East side of the trail.

Environmental Impact

This area is a designated nature preserve. As climbers please be conscious of the impact that you have on this environment. Try and eliminate litter and damage at the base of each climb. Thanks.
