Description

This is a secluded shady area that does not see much traffic due to getting there and old school bolted routes w/ some new fixed protection.

Getting There

Usually a quick walk up a dry wash/ stream bed. If you see the Map kiosk before boulder natural you should cut left into the woods for about 5-10 minutes up the wash. Then wander more right then left through the woods to scattered boulders for about 5-10 minutes. Ascend Steep hill side via easiest route and end up at the base of the cliff.

I thought the Author of the old pink guide bolted them. His first name Eric? I don't know if they have been re-bolted but a few of the bolts were sketch in the early 90s! Jul 9, 2017

Gary Hunter was our guidance counsler at West in those days. I actually saw him out walking there last year. Joe was a year younger, Bonner. Ha. I'm not sure how much development he actually spearheaded. Aug 17, 2012

Does anyone know if this is the area that Gary Hunter helped establish... Gary is a grey haired gentlemen who introduced Joe Kinder to climbing back in the 90's (if that helps anyone) Aug 16, 2012
