Description

The Rock Garden has lots of lines just a few miles off the main road. If you know where the Texas Block is, continue on and Rock Garden parking is on the left hand side. I have even seen some Unaweep projects in Rock and Ice magazine that are in the Rock Garden area.

It has a quick approach, a good variety of boulders, and lots of potential. In the Colorado Bouldering guidebook, there are 5-6 pages on the Rock Garden.

Getting There

This is just a bit past the Texas Block area on the left hand side (assuming you're coming from Grand Junction). There's a dirt lot on the left.

Per Kevin Hadfield: this is just after mile marker 150 on CO Hwy 141 on the south side of the road.
