Description
Black Point is a point on the ocean with black sharp rock which is probably limestone. Located on Treasure Cay (which is actually a peninsula) on the island of Abaco, this is one of the only places with climbable rock. Accessible during high and low tide though low tide would offer more climbing options. All the climbing would be bouldering and traversing. The rock is very weathered from the crashing waves and water, so be very careful about what you are pulling on.
Getting There
From "downtown" Treausre Cay head on the main road towards the airport. Once one reaches the "security" gates/checkpoint thing, head to the beach on the right and go to the end. At the end walk through the forest to another stretch of beach. Walk this stretch of beach to the point that juts out.
