Description
ROCK CLIMBING INSIDE THE GOSHEN PASS NATURAL AREA PRESERVE IS NOT ALLOWED. THIS AREA INCLUDES ALL CLIFFS NORTH AND EAST OF THE MAURY RIVER, INCLUDING MAURY RIVER WALL, CHAMBERS RIDGE, AND OTHERS. SEE THIS DCR HANDOUT FOR MORE INFORMATION
An often overlooked climbing area in Virginia.
Plenty of routes for top roping and trad climbing along with bouldering.
Climbs range from 25-100 feet and comprised mainly of sandstone.
As approach the pass the crags are: Castle Rock, Wayside Wall, Undeveloped Wall, Devil's Kitchen, Chambers Ridge and Maury River Wall.
