DescriptionTrailside Overhang is after trestle #40:
ride past the trestle for maybe a minute and you will come up on the gnarly overhang. This is the most aggressive boulder on the trail, and it is literally right beside the trail. It has really great features and the potential for really hard lines as long as its not wet.
off the bank on the opposite side is a deep pool of fast running river water down below, and also stairs leading down to a place to wade in and swim as well (really cold, but so much fun in the summer!).
The overhang is a good spot to seek cover from fowl weather as well and some riders tend to park their bikes under this feature while swimming in the river/creek pools below. expect to have kids or riders stop to watch you climb.
Getting ThereAs you bike up or down the trail there is only one real prominent, steeply overhanging (ledge/juggy on the right portion of it) feature to speak of. If you find yourself at a feature fitting this description and off the bank on the opposite side is a deep pool of fast running river water down below, you're in the right spot.
