The Western Front is the first cliff you see when approaching from the parking area. It has a variety of routes from 5.3 to 5.11, 50 to 150' long, on rock that varies from okay to excellent. Most are bolted sport routes, but some need gear. It includes 3 distinct areas;
Lower Western Front - 16 routes, short west to northwest facing lower cliff on the far left, closest to parking area. There are 3 distinct sections where the routes are densely concentrated - left, middle and right. Approached from either the left or right ends.
Upper Western Front - 10 routes, the taller upper cliffs, best approached from the right end of the lower cliff.
Little Pine Rock - 6 routes, the far right end of the upper cliffs, just before reaching the Main Wall. Best approached from the boulder field at the base of the Main Wall. Jul 29, 2014
