The name "Call to Witness" comes from the Subduing Mara or Calling the Earth to Witness pose of Buddha with the left palm facing up and the right palm facing down over the knee. I didn't know the route was already named (wasn't in the guidebook?) so just added it as such. If you want me to change it back I will, otherwise we can keep it as is. Thanks! Sep 2, 2011
All the sources i have suggest that the 6b+ is called 'Happy Birthday', does anyone know where the name 'Call to Witness' came from. I think I prefer it, so would be happy to go with that. Mar 17, 2011

Great! Add away... the guidebooks seem to leave Chiang Mai out and most people don't buy Josh's book once they get up there. Thanks! Jan 5, 2011

Yes, there's a 6b+ around the corner from the chimney... climbs a slightly overhanging face with some powerful shouldery moves at the crux. I'll add it. Jan 3, 2011

Thanks for adding this area Andy. I'm pretty sure I did these routes. Isn't there a 6b+ a little to the right of the Chimney that is also very good? Jan 3, 2011
