Description
Nolan River is a bouldering area tucked away along the nolan river near Blum Texas. While the guidebook(TX limestone bouldering) has most of the problems fairly stout (hard) there are some easier lines as well with a little bit of exploring of rocks. This area has still a bit of potential and is a safe-access area so far. Just be fairly quiet b/c there are homes above the cliff line. Quality rock, with more than a days worth of good stuff!

There was a lot of snakes. There isn't a great trail to the rocks, and you have to cross the river that was only running a few inches deep.
We spent the morning here, and then would go to Paluxy (sub 30 min drive away) to take a nap and climb a bit out there for a complete day.
The Atlantis Boulder was surrounded by drift wood and we saw a bunch of snakes in it.
Parking on the southside of the bridge didn't give us any problems. The locals parked there as well. Apr 1, 2017
