Routes in The Aircraft Carrier

Description

Home of the classic, The Fin and several climbs from V3 to V12 with varying style; one-move wonders, long traverses, roof climbs, an arete and ass-draggers like Snake Belly where you can hardly fit a pad between you and the ground for 10 moves.

Sitting at the top of the hill it's exposed and gets a bit windy. The carrier itself is mostly in the shade but the opposing wall gets some sun.

Getting There

On the SW side of Mescalero Canyon, perched at the top. Identified by the obvious 20 ft rock overhang coincidentally resembling the front of an aircraft carrier (go figure).
