Description
This great boulder has 10 established problems (the most that I can think of on any boulder in South Dakota) on it and there is potential for a few more (HARD!) problems. The grades range from V0 to V8 and most of the problems are of high quality. The approach is also very easy and takes about 10 minutes. Well worth it for this boulder!
Getting There
Park by the sign in the parking area opposite South Seas/Old Baldy. Walk back up the road towards Mt Rushmore about 100 ft and look for a small hidden trail that cuts down into the woods and then heads parallel with the road for another 150 ft. It will then take a sharp 90 degree turn to the right into a gully. Once through the gully continue another 50 ft up the trail and look for a small trail (you should see the boulder off to your right from here) that cuts off to the right and heads straight for the boulder. The first problems you will see are El Guapo/Quiet Desperation.
