Description
Though most people don't think of Whitesides as a cragging destination, along the approach trail to the main southeast face there are numerous excellent 1 and 2 pitch climbs with a fairly short approach.
Getting There
From the parking lot, hike the main hikers trail / old logging road for about 600 feet until the trail splits with steep steps going up to the right. Follow the path with these steps for about 1500 feet for several switchbacks until at the corner of a switchback you are along the ridgeline. Go straight on a faint climbers trail behind a post downhill through rhodos until you reach the cliffs down and to your left.
