Small bulge along the river standing 60 feet. Two areas here - Little Bulge and Great Falls Bulge. Easily seen from the Great Falls Virginia Side, but rarely will you see climbers on it. The classic here is Super Bulge 5.11c/d.
Park at the Great Falls Tavern Visitors Center. Cross the canal and hike downstream along the tow path about one-half mile to the Billy Goat Trail. Follow that for 125 yds and then cut right to the top of The Bulges.

[Hide Comment] Wouldn’t climb here on a weekend. The rock face is, at its closest point, only a few yards off the billy goat trail, so it is heavily trafficked by hikers and families. Difficult to set up protection safely.
