Climbing at Cascade Canyon is on private property, not US Forest Service land. Climbing on private land is a privilege - please leave no trace and remind other visitors to treat the area with respect.
Description
Headbanger's Wall refers the section of climb between the Roof Area and the Pool Area. It contains some of the longer routes at Cascade that climb aesthetic aretes and corners. Several of these routes face more up-canyon than others in the canyon and therefore stay shady a bit later into the afternoon.
Per e Dixon: the original names of the walls and routes at a local crag (Cascade Canyon) in Durango, CO have resurfaced. The originally submitted "Free Tibet Sector" was originally called the "Headbanger's Wall."

Getting There
From the large, prominent overhangs and roof of the aptly named Roof Area, continue hiking about 100 yards past the spring that has washed out the trail. The first route, By-Tor (5.10), is just past the spring. The rest of the Headbanger's Wall is where the trail flattens out between the wall and some large trees.
