Description

The crag is about 100 feet high and has some early morning shade and afternoon sun. There is a decent description in Bingham's guidebook for finding the rock, and it is a belay-from-the-bumper access, and a campsite right at the base. There are 5 routes listed in the guide, 4 of which are traditional. It is a typical City of Rocks white granite, and is well-textured, solid, and provides enjoyable climbing. The SW face is lower angle and is suitable for beginners with some easier climbs. There is also a single, bolted sport climb available at the 5.11 grade.

Getting There

From the campground in the main City, drive on the Twin Sisters Pass road to the summit of the pass; turn left and pass through a gate to a single campsite located at the base of the SW face.
