Description
This large boulder is obvious from the Seedhouse Campground entrance, located north across the road and meadow. The bouldering consists of a range of difficulties from kid friendly to V5 plus. Early to late summer is the season for most bouldering pad-wearing freaks. The rock is granite and of good quality. Great option for those in the climbing group that want to boulder for a while.
Getting There
From Steamboat Springs, Co, take 129 north from US HWY 40 towrds Steamboat Lake. Clark is the small village to look for. Turn right on Seedhouse (RCR 64) and continue to follow Elk Creek. The pavement ends and the road continues as gravel. Just before FS 443 is the Seedhouse Campground. You can see the Seedhouse boulder from here. Park, walk across the field and enjoy!
