Description [Suggest Change]
The Frontales loom large over the village of El Chorro. The upper right hand portion of the wall, with the large cave, is the Frontales Atlas. The middle portion of the giant wall is Frontales Medias, and the lower portion of the wall, where the train runs, is Frontales Bajas. The Frontales face south, however, there are many shady spots in the morning and evening. A great fall, winter, and spring area. The Rock quality is generally quite good, and varied, from slab to overhanging tufa pulling. Routes range in length from 20 feet to 500 feet, and are generally bolted well.
Getting There [Suggest Change]
From the campground or the village of El Chorro there are many trails leading to the different sectors. The road that runs in front of the campground is a great place to catch the main trail.
