Description

The Rincons form the eastern boundary of the Tucson metro area, with part of the range falling in Saguaro National Park (East). In spite of it's proximity to Tucson, everything here is very backcountry.

Getting There

The Rincons cover a large area. Crags are accessed either via Reddington Pass to the north, or via Happy Valley to the east. See individual areas for detailed directions. Bob Kerry's "Backcountry Climbing in Southern Arizona" is the most comprehensive guide to climbing in the Rincons. Also see climbaz.com.
