Description Suggest change

The first of several large butresses leading up the canyon, the Eight Mile Butresses, that sit across the road from Eight Mile Campground. There are dozens of small crags littered about these larger formations.
Like just about any other area in Leavenworth, the views and rock quality are world class.

Getting There Suggest change

Drive just past Eight Mile Campground, and use any of the pullouts on the right side of the road. The trails are often indistinct, and there are at least three. The best I found started at the largest pullout in the immediate area, perhaps 200 - 300 yards from the entrance to the campground. Expect between fifteen and thirty minutes to the base, depending on your fitness.
