Ghost Kitchen

International > Europe > Greece > Kalymnos

Description

The dominant feature of the crag is a huge domed roof lined with tufas and stalactites at the center of the cliff, on either side are nice slab routes of easier difficulty.

Getting There

About 100m before Skalia village, you'll notice the white pillar for the Ghost Kitchen. Park then go up the dirt road (now concrete) for a short distance then look for red marked trail heading off lookers right of the road.

This was March 16th 2020, our last crag before Greece kicked us out of the country because of Covid. I was trying to pose like the cover of "60 meters to anywhere".

[Hide Comment] As of January 2024, i think the GPS coordinates on this page from the app was a few hundred meters off. You would still need to find the “white pillar”. It should be very helpful to identify from the road first where the main face of ghost kitchen is, as the “white pillar” is basically right down that crag. Also the access is yellow marked trail now, which is also painted on the “white pillar”. You followed concrete road and then the drainage for a short distance, and for the main face turn right and follow very well traveled and obvious climber trail. Jan 7, 2024
