Description
El Fumat is exposed to the elements and is best avoided in windy or rainy conditions and there is no dry climbing in the rain. The sun hits the crag late in the afternoon making it a pleasant evening venue. The cracks can hold a small amount of black lichen which becomes extremely slippery if at all damp.
Getting There
From Port de Pollenca, follow the road towards Cap Formentor. At the 13km post, turn off to a parking area on the left for a path which leads down to a rocky beach. From the parking area, cross back over the road and follow a very vague path up the hillside towards the crag. The long line of the overhang on the right-hand side of the cliff is obvious.
