The Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent's Compendium states that:
1. Vegetation is not allowed to be used as an anchor.
2. Only neutral or rock colored bolt hangers are allowed.

Description

These are the many areas located outside of the canyon or the valley of RHV area itself. To south or west are located super popular areas such as Houser Buttress.

This is another option to get one to the Arid Piles - Southwest Face

Getting There

From the main parking lot there is the large Turtle Rock to one's left with most everything else following a trail that skirts the outside of Real Hidden Valley.
