International > Europe > France > 04 Northern Alps > Grenoble > Vercors > Combeauvieux

Description

The most popular sector at Combeauvieux, the Triangle has both easy to moderate routes on sometimes fantastic limestone.

Faces southwest and gets mid day through afternoon sun.

This sector has over 20 routes ranging from 4b to 6c. Mostly short, one pitch routes there are several excellant, short, multi pitch routes as well.

Great views from this crag back towards Corrençon.

Getting There

Follow directions for Combeauvieux. Once arriving at the Secteur de la Terrasse (the first bit of rock one comes to on the trail), head up to the right, above this sector on a good, but somewhat steep trail, to gain the base of the Secteur du Triangle.
