Aerili, the bolts all look fairly new, though poorly placed in some cases. The wall is about 150 feet upstream from the bridge, about 45 feet tall. The bolter made a poor attempt to camoflauge, the routes look to be in the 10 - 11 range, a couple look interesting. It appears that a couple of the lines aren't quite finished but I counted in all 9 routes. Nov 9, 2010

Are they related to my former post about this?

I don't recall there being that many bolts back then, but maybe the driller wasn't finished with his work.....

I noticed about nine new bolted lines crammed together on a 45 foot rock just down from the fish creek bridge. Know anything about them? Nov 7, 2010

I'm guessing most of the walls in that area are in the Superstition Wilderness, meaning no new bolts. Opportunities for new trad lines are probably limited and chossy. There are some older bolted lines in the area, but the quality of the bolts is often suspect. Apr 27, 2010
I grew up in Arizona and hiked this area long before I ever climbed. Just visited there because I remembered tall walls. We bouldered several boulders along the creek that were solid enough for the most part. I could find no route listings on M.P. or in any Arizona climbing guides. I find it hard to belive there are no established routes on these walls. The potential. here is huge. Same quality of rock as the rest of the superstitions. Mostly solid rock but keep a keen eye out for the loose stuff. If any one has any routes here I would like to see them. I will most certainly be back to work on some myself. Apr 27, 2010
