Seems like bees have taken up residence near the waterfall. We approached the 5.8 trad route (May, 2014) and were politely asked to go away by a LOT of bees. Be careful when approaching. I don't know if this is a permanent residence now, but they definitely convinced me not to stick around. May 19, 2014
Brian's comments relate to winter visits. In the late spring, summer or early fall it is sunny in the morning. Maybe just summer. Jan 3, 2013
Nice find, thanks for the good routes and great anchores.

one more correction to the beta; the routes are in the shade in the am, the wall faces west/south west.

you can not see the climbs from the road, but you can see the large sunny cliff right above the climbing area from the road.

I liked Do Not Enter, however it felt a little harder than 8.
The 7+ was ok, but I would not recommend it to 5.7 leader.

This a dog friendly place less the cholla. even had some water.

one last note; it is cool to wear a helmet these days. Dec 31, 2012

These additional directions may be helpful (or take the fun out of finding the crag):

Take Tanque Verde Road east from Le Buzz.

Continue 3.7 miles past Catalina Highway to Soldier Trail.

Turn left on Soldier Trail. Drive about 1 mile north and turn right on Fort Lowell Road.

Fort Lowell Road will change to Camino Ancho as it enters the Palo Verde Ranch development.

Turn left on Camino Remuda.

After 1 mile the road will make a hard left at an artificially aged adobe entry arch and wall.

Continue 0.2 mi to the Agua Caliente trail head parking lot on your right. Dec 30, 2012

Wear a helmet here. There are a lot of rocks to come down on these routes. Especially the two 5.9s. Jan 26, 2011
