Description

From the Goose Creek TH, follow the only trail to a junction down at the first creek. Stay right on trail #516. Cross a bridge and continue into the wilderness area. Hike past the big, obvious campgrounds (popular with Springs area Scout troops). Soon there will be a departure to the left from the main approach trail. At this point the approach trail is the size of a wagon road, whereas the Riverside trail (my name for it; it is not marked at all) is scarcely bigger or more defined than a game trail. Follow this trail along the river as it brings you through increasingly concentrated bouldering offerings.
