This is the larger of the two boulders 'on the side of the road you park on. The down climb climbs down to the road so be careful of the traffic. Most of the problems are highballs so please be careful.

The boulder gets its name from the route EDCL (V2), which is the tall crack next to the telephone pole.

Important: When climbing on the road side, be very aware of cars and be ready to quickly get out of their way. Don't make drivers nervous and force them to drive around you! This is serious enough that the town has considered blowing up the boulder!
